Student Jonna-Mari Laukkanen TAMK University of Applied Sciences in Tampere took the first prize at the EuNeOn logo competition. The competition was mainly targeted to graphical design students in Finnish universities of applied sciences.

The members of the EuNeOn network liked the globe symbol of the logo. In their opinion it refers to a worldwide network and distance learning. The clarity of the layout also appealed to the members.

In all, there were three participants in this competition.

The visual layout and the graphical elements will be applied on the EuNeOn website, electronic services, and the EuNeOn printed material. The EuNeOn website is located at www.euneon.eu.

EuNeOn (The European Network of Networks for Higher Education Online) is a European network consisting of several major European virtual campuses. The Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences and the Finnish Virtual University are going to join the network next Autumn.

The development unit has informed the winner and she will was granted a prize worth 500 Euro.
